  1. Aloha Lessa,

I graduated from UCLA with my MLIS and MA in Asian American Studies in 2006…

Just ran into your blog as I surfed the web looking for Auntie Sissy’s website – My daughter and I used to dance in her Halau.

Did you graduate this last quarter? I’m also involved in the Asian/Pacific American Librarians Assoc. – and affiliate of ALA. and the Filipino American Library in Historic Filipinotown – Los Angeles. If you’d like to talk sometime over coffee, I’d love to find out more about your research and hula. We live in Carson and have 2 doggies. We have 2 daughters, the older one, Gabriela is married and we became grandparents last March. My younger one (the hula dancer) is going into her 3rd year at UCSB. Hope to hear from you…..

    God Bless
